B&B Booking
Book any available date (mostly Sunday to Thursday) below.
Midweek availability is mostly good, but weekends are booked by wedding guests.
En-suites £150/ room for two sharing, B&B, first night, £70 for two sharing second night.
Budget non en-suites are £35 B&B / person (based on 2 sharing), or £30 Bed only per person.
Breakfast is included except on 'room only' (very quiet) days. On 'room only', breakfast is available in the neighbouring Country Park cafe from 10.00 am. Walk into the Park from Courtyard, via Theatre Gardens. Cafe closes at 3.00 pm so is ideal for snacks and lunches while walking your dog in the Country Park.

The Nurses Building Budget Rooms Option
When en-suites are unavailable, the 'Nurses' budget non-ensuites are inexpensive and you can use the large lounge opening onto garden area. The kitchenette with fridge and cupboards is handy for storing dog food, cold drinks and snacks.
The Nurses' Rooms are so called because the Castle was once a Hospital and this is where the Nurses lived. Basins in each room, loos & showers one end. Self-contained galley kitchen with microwave, fridge and sink, small counter top oven with twin hobs (not a full size oven). Lounge with double doors opening on to lawn with table & chairs. This garden area ideal for doggie comfort breaks (bin provided for dog bags).
Budget B&B rates!
£35 per person per night B&B in Nurses Building non en-suites
Open midweek in warmer summer months - April to October, with Breakfast served in castle.
Coffee or tea can be served at the bar by Reception. Dogs welcome in castle bar and sitting rooms. Castle rooms are closed when a wedding is on but Nurses Lounge (see pics above and below) remains open always as it's in a separate building.
Popular with ghost hunters, suitable for walkers and groups seeking budget accommodation in the Brecon Beacons, great for dog walkers due to being on ground floor near opening on to doggie area.
The 10 Budget B&B double rooms and one single room are quite small. 'Even' numbered rooms 2,4,6,8,10 have twin beds and are larger than the odd numbered rooms 1,3,5,7,9 which have double beds. 11 is a single. Rooms 8 & 10 have an adjoining door between them, suiting a family.

Graded 2 star hostel before criteria changed to require more loos than the four we have here. Kitchen fine for re-heating or cooking small snack type ready meals but not intended for 'full' self-catering stays.

Dressing Room
The Nurses Lounge also doubles as a dressing and make-up room for Brides (or Grooms!) who need a room to get ready in. Wedding Couples may book the Nurses Rooms for their Bridesmaids the night before a wedding, so everyone can all be together before the Big Day.
