Henrhyd Waterfalls Dogs Walking behind the waterfall

Henrhyd WaterFalls Information

Craig y Nos Farmhouse Self Catering Accommodation is walking distance from the Falls and so anyone staying at the Farm should walk up the lane to the Falls. The single track road to the Falls does not have too much traffic on it and with a bit of planning a circular walk on minor lanes could be attempted, including the path leading down river from the Falls. This eventually exits on to a small lane, which you could return to (by turning right) to get back to the farm.

An ordnance survey map might be advised for this route as I have never done this circle myself. I guess it would take 3-4 hours to do this circle. First, go up the main lane from the farm, down to the steep path and over the footbridge to Henrhyd falls. On the return, having crossed back over the footbridge on your way back from the falls, turn left to head south down the river path for an hour or so. Eventually you get to a lane near the Monkey Farm/ Cefn y Erw
(well, you can hear the monkeys anyway). In theory you can then walk back along this lane to the farm (as I have driven along the lane here, to get to the farm) but I do not know the timing on foot.

As I have never done this full circle on foot, please verify on a map where you at this point, to assess how long and how to get back this way correctly. Allow about 4 hours for the adventure and take torches if its a winter afternoon as you may take a while longer to get back to the farm than you anticipate!
